さらに映画と音楽。 山と川とロッククライミング。好奇心は縦横に延びている。
今からおよそ30年前。デザインの先端に身を置きながら、年季の入ったカウンターで、黙ってひとり酒を飲む快楽を知る。
以来、日本全国の居酒屋を訪ね歩き、メモを走らせ、実直さと愛が宿った独特の文章を生み出してきた。
その長く揺るぎない足跡をたどるための、ロングインタビュー。間違いないのは、こういう大人に、男はなりたいってことだ。

Modernism and nostalgia, avant-gardism and orthodoxy, and edgy designs and old pubs.
Kazuhiko Ota is an unusual graphic designer and writer who knows
the essence of all the things and philosophies above despite the contradiction between those.
About thirty years ago, as a cutting-edge designer,
he discovered the joy of solitary drinking at a quaint pub.
Since then, he has traveled around Japan to visit such good old pubs called IZAKAYA in Japanese.
The result of his longtime research can be seen in various books and some TV programs.
In this long interview, we asked him about what he got after the long journey.
Now, let us take a sneaky peek into the adult world.
