Walthamstow means Home, my husband grew up here and has seen it change over the years, it’s full of culture and heritage, which I Love. The Forest and green spaces make it feel like the countryside has come into the city. Within a train ride your in the heart of London and then you can escape and go home. It’s so great to have the feeling of being part of a community within London.

Its a special place for me, outside Jamaica its my home where I live with my son.

Walthamstow means a lot me and my family. We have been part of this wonderful community for some years running our own business and also living in the borough. It is our pleasure to be surrounded among great individuals and families who have made our business grow over time. And for that I cannot thank everyone in the local community enough.

Everything – it’s the “grotty little suburb in north east london” which can boast a forest, open spaces, wetlands and reservoirs. It’s bumping; into friends and neighbours everywhere you go, a collection of like-minded folk, a diverse, vibrant mix of backgrounds and communities. It’s deep-rooted heritage, stirring tales and respect for a rich history, inspiring exciting futures, creativity, and passion.

Family. I have lived in this area over 40 years since I moved from Cypress. I have raised 4 boys here and it’s a great place to raise a family!

Walthamstow for me means familiarity and new beginning- It’s the first place I lived when moved to the UK from Jamaica in 2002, so it’s always felt like the beginning of a new chapter. It’s where I’ve got family and friends and where I started building my life. It has shaped so much of who i am today.
