普段から服への好奇心は旺盛で、古着から新しいブランドまで幅広くチェックして、ビビッときたものは積極的にチャレンジしているのですが、僕のようにジャンルにとらわれず、新しいものを日々取り入れたいタイプには、なんだかんだこういった Field Jacket のようなアイテムが一番心地良く便利で、着る機会も多いのです。

The Field Jacket is a new addition to the NEEDLES lineup from this season, and although it has only been out for a short time, it has become a welcomed member to my wardrobe.
Perfect exemplars of NEEDLES are its innovative colorings, unique patterns, and the variety of textile design, but this jacket eases in with such eccentric items, and creates a wonderful familiarity and balance. It is a “neutral” jacket that works well as a coordinating piece.
I am generally very fashion curious. I check out a wide range of clothing from vintage to new brands, and I actively challenge what I find interesting. I am not bound by genres, and I constantly like to take in something new, so ultimately items like this Field Jacket feels the most agreeable and practical, and therefore is regularly worn.
Available colors are in olive and black, of a crisp nylon blend fabric, with military specs and details. My current trend is to style the olive with vivid colors or patterns, while keeping the black chicer to wear with sweatpants.
There is a lineup of coat, vest, pants of the same series, and I use the pants just as often, which I purposefully wear oversized to enjoy the baggy silhouette. A younger colleague of mine wears it fitted, and that is just as good. Because of its “neutral” element, the wearer and the way it is worn can change how it is perceived.
I know there are many different ways to look at clothing, but I feel that the attention to detail hidden in seemingly simple items, the shape and size of the collar and pockets, the snap buttons, and the excellent sense of balance that exudes from each item is what makes them unique to NEEDLES. With this gratifying design and silhouette, I have a feeling that it will become a new standard piece, and I highly recommend you try it on.
